• History: Though the memory is hazy, Delilah's first memory is her mother, Rebecca Sharpe, tearfully explaining that they were moving away from Nox due to something bad happening to her father. When she was a little older, she figured out he died during some kind of hiking incident. Somehow, she couldn't bring herself to feel sad about the revelation.
  
  Delilah was always an unpopular child. During her elementary school years, it was due to her lack of expressiveness and "creepy look." In middle school, she was considered either ugly due to how rarely she smiled, annoying for how studious she was, or assumed to be a lesbian since she had no interest in boys. Despite mean comments from her peers, they never seemed to hit Delilah as hard as they did others. In fact, these comments only spurred Delilah to prove herself by way of her intelligence.
  
  Things finally looked up slightly in high school. Delilah gained a certain level of status both from her mom's federal job and the wealth it provided, and from how puberty didn't seem to affect her as severely as her peers. She finally made a long term friend when she met Sam during her senior year. The new boy had no knowledge of her bad reputation, and enjoyed her bouts of infodumping. Through her bond with Sam, she finally found someone she felt comfortable expressing herself around, and she found an avenue for learning how to socialize. Both enjoyed the art of debate, and through sharpening her rhetorical skills, she learned how to make herself more socially palatable.
  
  With what she learned in her high school debate club, and with Sam's support, Delilah used her first year in college as a fresh start. With how much more varied the student body at the community college was, she managed to meet more people who could look past her surface level flaws, people who understood her attitude, and people who wanted to see her succeed. This new wave of positive reinforcement inspired Delilah to start considering her future: a future she wanted to use to honor all of Rebecca's sacrifices she made for her daughter. This is when Delilah began to consider getting into politics.
  
  Then, all her ambitions were abruptly thrown out the window. Suddenly, she woke up in the middle of the night in the worst pain she'd ever felt in her life. Suddenly, her mind was flooded with new memories and new voices. Suddenly, she knew her father hadn't died to an animal attack, and that the real Delilah hadn't survived what was supposed to be a casual hiking trip either. When Sam discovered her in this state, she could only pray he'd be forgiving enough to help her through the devastating reveal.
